Hello there i need the head bolt torque spec for my 1993 4.9 liter caddy please and thanks

Not where I can look up torque specs at the moment.  As far as hp increase, how much do you want to spend?

For not much money try our sponsers  Magnaflow exhausts and K&N air intakes.  Perhaps Florida super chips, among other things.  I am still not where I can get to torque specs, try to pm flcaddytech on this board. Just find his name anywhere click on it and send pm.  If that is not successful I will get you some info, but it won't be for a day or 2.  Hope this helps.

well i got the specs for the head bolts now a need the specs for the rocker arms but thanks for the info

this is what i show for GM alum engines:

Rocker Arm
Studs ( Aluminum head ), 50 ft. lbs.
Cylinder Head Bolts w/Hardened Washer :  Long 65 ft. lbs.  Short 60 ft. lbs.
Intake Manifold 25 ft. lbs.
Valve Cover Bolts 25 inch lbs.

i'm not to sure but I dont think my block is alluminum? not to sure though but i did end up snaggin those torque specs. thanks anyways though. keep me posted on any goods around here.

last time i checked, this whole family of engines was aluminum.

there you go ...

additionally, there are major internal differences on the 4100 and 4500 between the
standard Cadillacs and the Cadillac Allante. 

try this .. the Cadillac Allante XYZ  Facts FAQ thread is quite interesting,
if you are so inclined.

as you do the work, take pics if you can and post them.

one normally times the distributor to cyl #1 TDC.
the engine timing is another matter.

what are you really looking for?
