I was going to hook up my cd player in my 95 eldorado and I took out the stock stereo and it turns out it's not the 3 harness 21 pin BOSE sterio, but it's the Dolby Digital with 12 wires I belive in the harness. 4 in one of them and 8 in the other one. i supposed the one with 4 wires had the power antena, 12 volt, accessory and ground, but i was wrong. i used my multimeter and found them on the other one mixed with the wires for the speakers. i check many sites but they all give my wire codes which don't even exist, for example gray with a white line which doenst exist. nothing has been changed so that's not the case. I was told these codes are in the GM website or in the service manual. Can anyone PLEASE tell me the codes and colors for what these 12 wires are ? thanks

thanks, i wired my stereo properly and the stereo only stays on until the car is on, when it's off it turns off. is there a way to make it stay on for 10 minutes or until the doors open like on the stock stereo ? also the power antenna makes noise in the back when the new stereo goes on and it's not even hooked up to the cd player. is there a way i can either make it work with my new stereo or disconnect it without damaging it?

also can i hotwire the switched +12 from the aftermarket cd player to the constant +12 so that it stays on and keeps the memory ? basically i want to know if i can connect both the constant and the switched +12 to the same yellow 12+ harness wire. thanks
