Steering column swapabilty ''80 to ''88

I have an ''88 Fleetwood Brougham and a ''80 Fleetwood Brougham. I want to take the column out of the ''80 and put it in the ''88. Are all of the plugs the same? What about where the shaft connects to the box? What about a column out of a ''90 Blazer S10?
