sloppy trans

     I have a 2006 STS AWD V8 with 22,000 miles. When letting of the gas and then reapplying it, I notice a rocking sensation, or bang. Also on acceleration from third to fourth gear there is a large drop in rpms. This happens in automatic and manual mode. I have driven other STS's and this does not happen. Any idea what is going on?

had sumthin similar happen on my old car, realized i had a bad trans mount, that fixed it, may be different for u though

I presume the dealership canot verify a problem? Car's under factory warranty, correct? Has the dealer searched for any bulletins related to this complaint. Has the service MGr ridden with you to verify?
