I just bought a 05 Deville that has the basic CD & Radio but no Satellite. In trying to read as much as I could find and talking to the local dealer, I’ve come to the conclusion that an aftermarket Satellite kit won’t work on this radio. I even purchased one from Sirius they claimed would work, but the radio only has one connection on the back and I guess many have two. My question is this: I’m told that I need a “Class 2” radio to use the Satellite accessory. I know that you can use the “hang on” style (which I have) but I would like to have it look factory and use the radio controls to change channels etc. Does anyone know what I need to accomplish this? Model or part numbers would be very helpful, maybe even a wiring schematic.
