The "Red Tag" sale at GM features some sweet deals on vehicles that would normally have been expected to fly without rebates. Incentives are running as high as $7,500 on the high-performance 2007 Cadillac XLR-V and $5000 on the DTS full-size luxury sedan. Last year, GM basically had just low-rate financing on these vehicles.

Something is working.  The local dealer had several XLR-V and they been sold.
It seems these cars are all over town.
