i recently replaced my vin 9motor with another vin 9 motor but for a 97 year model. all the wires are reconnected properly and the both motors are 99% identical save for the knock sensor which i relocated. problem is the car cranks but will not start. i checked fuel pressure and there is nothing at all. did the normal rundown on stuff fuses etc....everything checked out. then i noticed a message on the dash saying that there is a "theft security problem and that car may not start"... is there a way i can bypass this.....also the transmission range indicator keeps on flashing on and off...noticed in your diagram that it also uses the tranny switch hence my thinking that it really is a security system issue. appreciate any help and by the way, if you can do it how much will it cost me?

Did you change engine computers?
