Outside rear view mirrors

I own a 2004 Escalade and have a problem with the driver's side rear view mirror. As I park in the garage I fold the outside mirrors. When I leave the garage and unfold the mirrors, the driver's side outside rear view mirror will not return to the Driver #1 position;returns to a partial position. The passenger side rear view mirror returns to the correct position. In order to get the driver's side rear view mirror to return to the Driver #1 position I must place the gear in park and press the Driver #1 button. Have any of you experienced this problem?

I think if you set the mirrors while the car is in reverse it auto saves the position when you fold them. It talks about it in the owners manual.

It's not under warranty as a 2004? I haven't had that problem, but even if it comes down to user error, the dealership can show you how to use it right.

you may take it to the dealer, have them check what's wrong with your rear view mirror. they might help you solve the problem.
