I have a 1997 Cadillac Catera. While I'm driving, the engine just shut off. I'll coast the the curb, try and re-start the car and it just crank (no inginition). After about an hour, It'll start back up with no problem and about another 1/2 mile, the engine will shut-off again. What could be the problem. What do I need to replace to correct this problem? Need help.

You should start by having the computers codes checked.
Also what steps have you taken in troubleshooting this problems?(fuel and spark tests)

Well,
It's gonna cost you some money. My 98 did the same thing. The Crank Case position Sensor was bad. it was an $800.00 job...if that's what is wrong. I can tell you, after this hppened, it seems like everything ells is going wrong.
