i have 2004 escalade does not have navigation system. want to add stock navigation stereo do i need to install any antenas or brain units for the stereo to work or all the connectors are allready there please help

Sorry, I can't help you on any equipment you'll need to buy. Mine has the stock navigation, but if didn't, I would compare the price of a stock unit versus an aftermarket type because the aftermarket might be cheaper with more options. For instance, you could probably get one that 1, may play movies, 2, have a hard drive for digital music, or 3, may even look better.

I just bought a new factory nav unit on Ebay for my '03 Escalade and everything went in fine, but you must make sure you have the Y91 option on the label in the glove box, and you must have the premium sound system, and make sure the nav unit you buy comes with the GPS antenna and DVD. The GPS antenna will mount to a factory bracket under the top of the dash, everything else is plug and play.

hi,,i m thinking to buy a 2002 escalade and i so that has a stack screen is that for gps only? can you hook up to a ipod ? what is the scrren for? thanks
