Just wondering how many of you will stay with the recommendation of using Mobil 1 or going to another oil?

I just picked up a real low mileage (9728) 2007 STS with the 4.7 VVT V8 Saturday. I got a case of Royal Purple 5w30 left over from my last Ford disaster. Never again will I buy a Ford.
The bottles of Royal Purple say it's is at the recommend spec GM4718M quality which is suggested in the STS owner’s manual. The next change will be at 14,800 or when ever the DIC indicates to change it so I'm going to do eight quarts of Royal Purple with a PF-61 filter. I haven't looked for the oil filter yet. Where is it?
