mccain 300 million

Mccain wants to give someone 300 million to come up with a better battery.  Hell GM has sunk a ton in to that already.  I would rather pay someone a billion if I could fill my car up with a garden hose.

Your right about GM. Much, much more and they have a car production line ready to crank up as soon as the battery appears.  In fact, they are in a race with the Japanese government and Toyota for a successfull lithuim!
First time I have read any articles about Toyota "running scared!"

I still want to know what ocean they (Japan) are dumping the spent batteries at.

And what country we will be paying them to take our spent batteries ...

There is presently a huge demand for used batteries today.  Minerals are getting darn scarce and quite expensive.
