 Gents,
When we changed the power steering pump, I noticed the pcv boot was cracked at both ends and had been stitched up with electrical tape. No worries, got the valve, grommet and hose ordered at local Caddy Dealrship to arrive tomorrow.

It has been running a tad rough and I pretty much figured that may be the case. Well today it shuts off and fires back up. My engine temp runs between 196-199 running and 201-204 at short to medium idle times.

Got her home and checked codes (thanks to this site) and I got the following.

1. P0101-Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Performance.
2. P0171-0174 Lean bank.
3. P1599 - Engine Stall or Near Stall Detected.
4. P1611 - Loss of CVRTD Serial Data.
5. B1552 - Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error

In short, I'm thinking maybe my EGR might need cleaned and inspect the plugs and wires.
Just asking for a little insight if there is something else I should look at. I'm mainly a Mustang guy and although I have both manuals, I'm not quite familiar yet with the Northstar.

Just asking for a little insight and apologizing for the short novel.

Vacuum leak could cause P0171, P0174, & P0101. After you fix  PVC hose clear codes and see if they come back.

P1611 and P1552 check condition of battery, battery cables, and ground connections.

P1599 - related to lean/ maf concern.

Good call Slowroll. I also found a small plastic line leading from the back end of the manifold to a "t" and then a clip on the firewall was sliced open. I had a few line connectors laying around and got that fixed.

I thought of running seafoam in the intake. Any specific line I should use?

seafoam will be fine. I recommend injecting it through the brake booster hose
