Attended the auto show, aside from a few nice lookers and lot of technology, there were hundreds
and hundreds of the most boring cars one can imagen.
BUT, the Cadillac arena was elbow to elbow with people, impressed people ... I was impressed.
The models that got my attention were the CTS-4, CTS-V and STS-V.
I sat in the CTS-V and they had to pry me out of it.
Cadillac had both men and women answering questions and by God, they really knew what
they were talking about .. impressive. All in business suits, answering whatever one asked and
not being pushy in any way. Oh, the Thropy was well displayed, the Car Of The Year, CTS.
There were other American cars that had the same results, crowd loved them. Dodge was doing quite well,
Ford & Lincoln were a ghost towns.
Asian foreigns - boredom town, not much besides Lexus where one was allowed to get into their
"Direct Shift" car and drag it on the dyno .. the Subaru was popular with a 40ft screen live coverage of
rally races sponsored by Subaru. Odd thing is, the Subaru cost more than some of the Cadillacs.
Euro supercar foreigns - one was lucky to get close enough to get a glance, much less touch one.
Aside Ferrari, not cars that one would see on the street.
Euro avg foreigns - near ghost towns, MB & BMW were nearly a ghost towns.
Girls? With kids under 12 FREE, it was a family affair, all suits, everywhere suits.
Even the Lambo and Ferrari girls, conservative outifts or SUITS!
Cars owned the day.
Little music at the show, with one Exception.
Gianna Wheels had quite a show, quite a display, photo opportunities, lots of music, and some truly awesome wheels.
