Hello, I have recently purchased a '76 Elorado convertible as I had a '69 Plymouth Sport Fury III convertible that went away in a divorce many years ago. Absolutely love this car and need to hook up with some experienced individuals to assist me with some of the repairs. I have a new headlight switch to install and have started removing dash parts to get this done. I have been unable to get to a point that I can remove the old switch from the mounting plate without a major teardown of the all things located under the dash. I am waiting for the arrival of a shop manual that I ordered and wanted to make sure there is not a simple solution to swapping out this switch. The heating/ air conditioning control is also not working and thought I would address the replacemant of this componet at the same time. Please advise.
