As of 3/20/07 East Coast excellent Condition
75,000 miles. Deduct for condition and mileage
add for low mileage, custom wheels, hardtop ect.

          1993   $16,785
          1992   $10,785
          1991   $  9,410
          1990   $  8,075
          1989   $  7,025
          1988   $  6,225
          1987   $  5,775

I can't imagine any of Monzo's cars for sale will match these prices.  The market just isn't there, IMO.

in my looky-lou experiences, the street price is about 50% to 60% of those figures, all years.
exceptions?    maybe the Mary Kay units and the 30,000 mile units

Stealth, I hate when you are right about Allante values.   I've bid on 5 cars this week that looked very servicable!  all went for less than 4k.  Damn!

Bill,

i'm considering taking my '88 Allante OFF the collision part of the insurance.
reason:  i am seeing the '88s with equiv mileage go for under $3,000.
at that rate she is going to be worth $2,000 by this time next year.
oh, and she needs tires, another $600 on a ever declining value item.

the difference in insurance from LIABILTY ONLY to complete coverage?
$60 / mon .. times 12 months = around  $700

do the math.  i'm paying (annual) about 30% of market value in insurance
and that seems silly at best.

on one hand, i simply like the Allante, not cuz of value,
but cuz of what she is and does and she is'got style!
on the other hand, the right '92 may just be around the corner.

like Gary has said over and over, want a collectible type car?
buy a older Vette.  reference my posting in the classified below?
