Hey all. I bought a 95 Eldo with 59k on it a few months ago. All was fine until a week ago. First the muffler fell off, so I bought Flowmasters. No Biggy, I was looking for a reason too (No they are not on yet) Then the Alternator died. Figured np, ill just change it. Then I look where its located, and im sure you can guess I had to take it to somone. Because the Alternator died, I guess somehow the AC crank got messed up. Do i Need to buy a whole new system? And if so do you know where I can find one for a decent price that is not a junk yard? Also the Battery no charge light is still on but the new alternator is working fine. How can I reset it? Thanks and I hope this is the last of my troubles with the car. I do like it, but getting frustrated.

I heard you need to buy the compressor and everything if you need to change the ac clutch/crank

It can be replaced with the proper tools. (Compressor clutch/coil bearing and pulley)
Now finding one, thats a different story.

My question still isnt answered. DO I need the whole system or can I just get a new clutch? Also what about the battery no charge light? Thanks

Ya the 95 Eldo is notorious for stupid problems, check the fuses usually thats the first problem with it.

If you can find a new clutch, then yes it can be replaced with the proper tools.
If you cannot source a clutch then the entire compressor assembly would need to be replaced.
I don't see any reason why the "whole system" would have to be replaced.
hope this helps

WWW.ROCKAUTO.com, and you will find that they carry the A/C clutch
for about $45.00, also have the clutch w/coil for $154. Hope this helps!
