Hi guys,
recently new member, proud owner of 2004 DTS, blk/blk.
61,xxx miles. had/have a few little PIA things go wrong- back RR door panel off, regulator under replacement soon as I get part ordered!!?? otherwise pretty good car... sometimes I think maybe there's too much stuff on these cars requiring constant repair/attention- just a vent.
I'm inquiring if anyone has info on bulb/light source for the up/dn
volume control in the steering wheel. Its out, the rest are OK.
It's odd- last night driving home, cold evening- I turned on the heated steering whl- it got all most so hot I couldn't hold on to it too long- turned it off. then I noticed the volumn ctrl light was out.
May/may not be a coincidence.
anyway if you've tacked this issue, can you make any recommendations as to a DIY repair.

Button bulbs not serviced separately, will need new switch to correct. Heated steering wheel stays on to you turn it off. Designed to heat to approx 90 degrees F.
