idle going up and down

So at first it was slow acceleration. but now I have  a check engine light on now. and the RPMs are bouncing up and down like crazy, as if I were stepping off and on the gas pedle. This Is really weired, has someone ever experienced this with their car. maybe some help on what it might be. Thanks.

There should be code(s) stored - need to have car scanned.
