Hey rickyd, I just searched New York State Police Z28 and a whole bunch popped up. Lots of other States and Provinces too that ran Z28 pursuit cars. Even the fabled RCMP used them instead of horses!

Katzmans... yea, why not, sold them for long, long time.... nice, quick, handle right, but ya got to park'm when the snow flys.....
Anyway, the Troop gave me a warning @ 76mph usually run thru his area at 74 twice a day, with no prob.... I guess it was that 2mph haha.
limit is 65, so OK whats 11 over anyway.....gee

It is so fun to beat 'stangs - my Allante took a 5.0 turbo right before heading to the spa...
Lots of police departments have one or two flashy cars - often they bring them out at high schools - or at car shows, they use it for PR and to get the kids interested in the 'message'...

In NYC there was at one point a Mustang that was taken from street racers was being used in Queens.... And I also saw a 70s Nova w Chrery Bombs running around tauinting people.....

i now know that nypd has a mustang 08ish. It sped by me and ripped my projectors, grill, HID, and tint off my car chasing down street races on the highway. silly ricers got arrested. The mustang had red and blues in the grill, strobes, and the led strobes by the rear view and the two strobes in the back. black.
i miss the 5.0. One is a 5.0 and a couple are in DARE andthe rest ppl sold.
