has anyone had trouble with the high intensity lights, dealer replaced bulb, fuse kit,ballast,ignitor,and connector Feb 05 under warranty. Now the same light has failed again, they want to replace all above parts to the tune of 1400.00 which I have to fork over. the car is Cad. 01 STS thanks Jim

How far out of warranty are you? Car has 4 year or 50k mile warranty. It also seems they want to throw all parts involved at it. If you are way out of warranty I would suggest getting second opinion.

Just read your intro tread I guessing it was a certified pre-owned car. Out of warranty by 2 weeks contact Cadillac Customer Assistance request assistance. Don't have an all or nothing additude after all you out of warranty. If you cant work out deductible, try to get cadillac to pay for parts and you pay labor. However, if you don't have a good relationship with your dealer it may not happen.

bought the car it had 18000 miles they gave me a GM entended warranty of 5 years or 10000 of course the years came before the milage Thanks
