Feel a clunk or thud when accelerating in drive at 40-60 MPH. Feels like a bad U-Joint or rear end or spline looseness but this is a FWD car. Transmission shifts fine and isn't making any noise or slipping. Have had this 1999 Deville for about a month and wonder what is going on.
Car has about 120K miles on it.
Suggestions? BIGHANK

Check front motor mount, Northstars tend to rip them apart.
