Hello everyone. I had a question I hope someone out there could help me with. I have a 87' Fleetwood Brougham that had a Olds 307 in it from the factory. After I pulled the 307 out today, I went to install a 94' chevy 350 engine in it I aquired from a chevy van. The motor bolts up to the bellhousing of the 200-4r tranny with no problems, but it seems that the engine brackets of the 350 engine are to big. The motor sits high, only the passenger motor mount bolts up to the frame mount and there is a huge amount of space between the cross member and the oil pan. It seems that I'll need a different set of OEM motor brackets ,but I have the slighest clue from which vehicle i'll need them from. Is there is anyone out there who can shed some light on this matter?
Thanks in advance
Ronson

To do what your trying you will need 91-92 engine brackets and motor mounts, for engine to sit right, but a 307 sbc is a little small, I perfer some a little larger.I'm non chevy guy, 350+ olds is the easiest but any BIG block will make it roll.Hope it helps

The 91-93 Fleetwood had a chevy 350 motor in it from the factory, so should I just go to the junk yard and get the engine brackets from one and buy new mounts from the parts store?

Misread your post but you will still need the same parts, not sure if impala / caprice parts will work with your sbc swap
