ELC draining battery.
This is on a 1993 DeVille.
The battery was down to 10Volts and would not crank the car today. I charged the battery then pulled the negative battery cable and hooked up my meter and it is pulling 300mA. Removed the ELC maxi fuse from under the hood fuse center and the amp meter dropped to 18mA.
Looking for any tips on the possible problem I have never worked on an ELC system before.

Unplug level ride sensor under back of car see if draw goes away. Sensor has timer circuits within it that may be shorted keeping vent soleniod on.

Thanks Slowroll
I found out there is a TSB on that rear sensor causing a battery drain.
Got hold of a wiring diagram and the ELC maxi fuse feeds fuse #11 and #12 under the dash.
Fuse #12 feeds all ELC circuits but the drain is on fuse #11 thank goodness.
Fuse #11 feeds several things under the dash and behind the glove box.
Now I just have to trace down the drain behind the dash.

Ok looks like most of the drain was a flaky glove box light.

Unplugged the glove box lamp but I still have a 20mili Amp (.002 Amp) drain on the battery.

What is the normal drain on the battery for a 93 Deville?

It falls under acceptable, KAM in modules could cause the minute draw.
