Looking to install the drl system on this car i just opurchased, a 94 fleetwood cadillac, did this befor on my 94 roadmaster buick 7 it involved a seperate wire loom, droping diode & module, strange it was only availiable in canada, anyways just subed the twighlight sentinal harness out & installed the new one & components, suprisingly the ac controls now in metric, is it the same parts for the fleetwood or do i have to get a whole new main harness for the car with the dry wiring in it?

What if you just cover up the sensor so it thinks its always dark?

Day time running lights have been mandatory in Canada since as far back as my memory goes, well at least into the mid 80's so that may expalin why the kit is only available in Canada.

As far as covering up the senor I don't think that is a good solution because your entire lighting system comes on at full power, while day time lights are only onthe front head lihgts and at a slightly lesser intensitiy, in fact on some makes using the parking lamps conforms to the legislation.

One would think the parts would be the same for the two cars that are virtually the same mechanically.
