I've read the incredibly long post about disk brake up grades and all.

Which Brake pads do YOU think are the best?

What type of material?

What brand?

How much?

Personal expriences would be appreciated.

Let me know

AC Delco ceramic pads or OEMs work best for me.

Stick with OEM recomended for that car. Switching around pad materials can cause temperature fluxuations that the vehicle was not designed for. Every pad has thier down side, like ceramic pads tend to crack if they are cooled too quickly (ie, ceramic pads with hard braking and drive through a puddle will crack them). But every pad has an upside (ie, ceramic pads are genarally quite when braking). Stick with what was designed for the car or problems may occure, even hidden ones that you might not think are related. (ie, excess heat casused by breaking by some pads can casue the moisture content in the brake fluid to turn into vapor, seperating it from the brake fluid because of different boiling points. this vapor acts like air in the sysem and can cause a soft, or no pedel situation. Also, if the vapor joins, it can settle in line and currode interior brake componants. the currosion will eventulally wear off and may damage other componants, if the particles were to get stuck in the abs HCU, this can cause jamming and cause the ABS not to preform right. Or the particles may travel down the lines into the calipers/wheel cylinders and may damage seals causeing leaking.)
