Average age 2

Okay, after the first post on what the average age of Cadillac owners is, this post is now going to ask, "Does anyone know the actual average age of the Cadillac buyer?"

There a few distinctions to this question that differentiates it from the previous. One, the previous poll took some ages of people belonging to this forum, which may not accurately reflect the total population (in statistics, it's a small sample, but not neccesarily accurate). Two, the question is asking the average age of Buyers...not owners, because GM would only have real statistics on car buyers from their show room.

So, anyone have an idea? I thought I heard an average of 60 a few years back...but are there any confirmed sources of info?

hmm..i know that when i worked for a dealership, we got stats like this...but i cant recall what group took the polls...i know that buick had the highest average age for a new model buyer..it was in the 70s!

i looked around online and found two sites with numbers..one said 63, the other said 50...so i guess that it really depends on who you ask...
