Ok, I'm new to this forum but not new to forums, so I did search as best I could before posting this, all I saw were answers regarding newer vehicles. Pretty simple question, how do I reset the 'Change Engine Oil' message on my 1990 Cadillac Seville Touring STS (if that matters), I was told once to press the Engine Info button (I think thats what its called) until it has the oil info, then hold that button and Reset Data. All it did was change the info that's being displayed. I've had this car for 2 days and it didn't come with the manual so I'm pretty lost here. Thanks.

found this on all expert website.. should be what you need to do.  good luck!
All you need to do is push the Eng. Data button with the key on or engine running until it displays the oil life on the panel. Then push the Eng. Data and Range buttons at the same time and hold for 3 seconds or until the number changes to 100. At that point the oil life is reset.

Yeah! That's the one I was talking about. I tried to go by that but all it did was change the info that was being displayed (changed it to RPM). I'll try again, I did try 3 times but maybe I'll get lucky. Thanks for taking the time to research though.

Might be a good idea to get an owners manual.  Check ebay for good prices.

I've had one of these cars....

Seems I recall having to hold the eng. data button down the entire time, i.e.,

once it toggles to engine oil prompt, continue holding it down, then push Range at the same time.
