So I have tons of pics of Cadillacs from 4 decades ( 60's to 90's ) and I figured I share them on the forums here. Todays lesson, the 1976 Fleetwoods. These cars were considedered at the time the last big Cadillacs, the next year saw downsizing of all GM senior cars. This fleetwood is one of the largest postwar cars made, and was the last year for the massive 500 cubic inch engine. The Fleetwood came in 3 trim levels this year, the standard Brougham, the Brougham D'Elegance, and the magnificent Talisman.
This is the Standard Brougham with optional wire wheel covers, and factory correct wide whitewall tires.

This is the interior of the D'Elegance model. D'Elegance only came with upgraded loose pillow style cloth seats. The heavily padded vinyl top , as well as the thicker pile shag carpeting was  also an upgrade that was standard on the D'Elegance and Talisman.

Below is the magnificent Talisman interior. Talisman came with a large lockable console in the front for 75 and 76, in 1974 when the Talisman was introduced, there was also a console in the back, therefore making this massive, ultra plush monster only a 4  passenger car. The seats were also said to be constructed differently from other cars, with hand fitted fabric and actual coil springs, similar to mattress construction. The car pictured here is actully a 1976 model ( notice type of wood tone on dash, steering wheel and door panels) that was fitted with the interior of a 1974 model..there is also a factory cassette player in this car from about a'79 to 81ish Cadillac.. was not available in 1976.(not to mention the CD Changer control, also newer and not factory) ..so a semi custom of sorts.
