71 deville ignition switch removal

How do I remove the ignition switch?
There is a broken off key in  it
I have removed the steering wheel and the turn signal switch
There seems to be no logical next step
 
Ideas/suggestions
It has cruise control if this makes any difference

HELLO, TO REMOVE THE SWITCH YOU MUST REMOVE THE COVER AROUND THE STEERING GEAR SHIFT LEVER TURN THE SWITCH TO THE ACC POSITION THEN UNDER THE SWITCH HOUSING THEIR IS A PIN THAT MUST BE PUSHED IN WITH A SMALL PIN PUNCH TO RELEASE THE SWITCH  THEN PULL OUT ,

Thanks, I know more now than I did then.
Unfortunately, I can't see how to remove the steering column housing.
Also the broken off key prohibits any chance of turning
