My Deville Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) worked until a few days ago. The DIC says, "Service Tire Pressure Monitor"
I cannot reset it. I noted that all the tire read good tire pressure except the right rear which read 39 pounds but when
I checked it with a good digital tire pressure guage, it said 33 pounds.

I can put the system into reset and it will beep twice but when I put the magnets on the wheel valve stems, they will
not beep.

Any ideas about how to fix the TPM system?

Thanks,
Richard

If you are getting readings on the dash from all the sensors but you can't complete the relearn procedure, chances are you are not doing it correctly.

"Check tire pressure" is the message when a high or low psi situation arises.
"Service tire pressure monitor" typically sets after a failed relearn cycle or from a sensor not sending any signal at all
If your dash reads psi from all 4 sensors i would tend to think it the first instance.

It is possible you have another issue with the system but that would be the least likely situation IMHO.

Hi and thanks for taking time to respond.

The message I get on the DIC for all four tires, after pushing the DIC reset is: ---PSI LF TIRE---, ---PSI RF TIRE--- etc.

I tried the relearn process again.....I have done it last year and it worked well.......and the first tire....the Left Front, will
not beep.

start with the rf if the lf won't learn.
If you get the other 3 to "honk" then the lf sensor is the problem.

Once you start the relearn it erases the sensor id memory until the learn procedure is completed( 4 sensors respond)

I had this message on my EXT. Took it to the dealership and one of the tire pressure monitors was going bad, so they replaced it.
