2001, Ticking noise from dash area

I just purchased a 2001 Deville and when I start the car, a ticking noise eminates from the driver's side dash area. It goes for a few moments, stops, then ticks again for 2 or 3 ticks then stops for the rest of the time the car is on. It does not stop when I turn the a/c off or is adjusted nor any other item (or so it seems). I am curious if anyone is familiar with this issue. Or if a TSB might have been written on this issue.

I believe you will find the mode door actuator on the drivers side is starting to strip out.

What became of your Ticking problem? I also have the same thing going on in my 2001 DTS. Am very interested if or how you solved problem. I havent found any part source that covers such a part. Any advice would be greatly apprecieated.
