1998 blower motor worrks intermittenly

The blower motor stops working in either extreme hot or extreme cold ambient tempurature.  It is very hard to trouble shoot because if out of the sun and in a garage it tends to work.  Any ideas?

Unfortuneately it sounds like a miserable day in a hot car in the driveway, any codes stored?
