I'd like to replace the radiator coolant, but there is no drain plug on the radiator that I can find. Is there a trick to this? I saw one posting that said the easiest way was throught the water pump, but had little instructions for that process. Is there a special too required for this as well?

I'm in the same boat...
I have a 98 SLS that needs new coolant.

I just bought a Prestone flush-n-fill kit.
After I find time, I'll reply. I hope it's not messy???

Also before I do-it-myself, I need to find a place to recycle it, or take it to???

It might be more of a hassle to DIY than just let a station deal with the fluids???

The drain plug is in the very bottom right hand corner (as you are standing as if you just opened the hood), right directly underneath the Tranny fluid line. It doesn't look like a normal drain plug, like the "wingnut" style. It is a small black piece of plastic. It is, however, a bitch to get to.
