1994 De Ville vs 1989 De Ville

Hello everybody,

I'm considering to get a De Ville.. Not sure which to get, though...

There're two options available
1994 De Ville (4.9i 204 Hp)
and
1989 De Ville (V8 189 Hp)

Given they are in a comparably good shape, what are the hidden troubles, any of those two De Villes got notorious for?

Which is a better option, what do you think?

If you are a do-it-yourselfer, the 89 is easier to work on, although trim / body parts will be harder to find. 

19 year old car vs. 14 year old car, have to believe younger is better.
