Hi Everybody.
I just bought a 1994 Cadillac Deville Concours and already knowing, I have to replace the power steering pump. The owner I purchased this car from provided me with a new power steering pump with the pulley connected.
My question as a novice mechanic is this... What exactly are the steps involved in accomplishing this?
I know I need to disconnect the battery as well as the drive belt but aside that, what else needs to be removed in order to free up the access I need to remove the pump? Also, regarding the power steering pump that is currently in the car, do I need to remove the pulley connected to the power steering pump in order to access anymore nuts or bolts? Any special tools needed?
Any advice, a url for a diagram or step by step on this would be much appreciated. Much much MUCH appreciated!
