1993 STS front end

I have  a 1993 STS with banging / cluncking coming from the front end when I drive over pot holes / bumps in the road (even minor ones)  I have been told this is likely strut related and that they are very expensive to replace with factory new. Any suggestions for aftermarket options? I live in Ontario Canada. Thanks. Richard

That clunking is the strut mounts having movement in them which makes them bad & needing replacement. I have part catalogs but it depends what kind of auto parts stores Canada has for aftermarket replacement parts.
