I have a 1984 Eldorado and when I pull the hood release under the stearing wheel, I can hear the latch moving or something..... but the hood does not open. Please help me, if I cannot get this to open, then I cannot get the car to run (battery, oil, engine etc...).

HEY I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM THE HOOD RELEASED SNAPPED DID U EVER FIGURE OUT A WAY TO OPEN GHOOD >>> PLEASE GET BACK 2 ME
