1984 Deville Deisel Engine Exhaust Question

I have a 84 deville with the DEISEL engine.  I need to get the car to pass emissions and the muffler has a hole the size of my fist in it.  I tried looking for a replacement and even ordered one from checker autoparts only to have the order cancelled as they no longer have those parts available.  So I kept looking and so far I havent been able to find a replacement online.  I will probably call my local shop but I wanted to see what kind of info I could get from you guys.
 
Any ideas on how to proceed?

Local muffler shop should be able to hook you up. Muffler will be the same size and layout as Olds gasoline version.
