1966 cadillac 429 engine, and tranny, would like to know the value. in process of engine swap.
any help with pricing would be appriciated

Well CADZILLA, you ought to be a bit more specific... Do you want to know the "value" of the engine, the tranny, or the whole car? If the latter, it depends on condition. If you only wnat to swap in an engine/tranny, then either you find one already rebuilt or go to the bone yard , get one cheap(?) and have it/them rebuilt. Also, even if that's what you want, you can go for different qualities, shops, etc. Go to eBay, junkyards, machine shops and ask questions, find answers.
