01 SLS Fuel Trim Bank Code and engine light on

Cars light came on just a couple days ago had someone pull the code and they said it was for the Fuel Trim Bank???? The car in question is a 01 SLS with less then 100,000 miles. Any ideas as to what I should be checking for???

I guess it was a hose that had gone bad 24.00 part and 2.8 hours to fix and they needed to slide the engine out of the way or something to put the hose on???? Waiting to her back from my mom about what the bill says

Sounds like the intake plenum boot.
We have had several come in with a tear across the bottom sucking in unmetered air.
The telltale sign is a lean fuel trim code for each bank.
p0171 and p0174.
